Dolphin Swimming Academy

General information

Dolphin Swimming Academy is a family run swim school operated by a husband and wife team Richard and Charlotte Green, with the support of our amazing team of swimming instructors.

As parents of a 4 year old little girl who loves the water we understand the importance of children learning to swim, by making sure that they learn through having fun in the water.

At our swim school we provide swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities.
We offer small class sizes (max 6 children per class).

Our aim is not just to get the children swimming, we want children to enjoy each lesson, have fun and love being in the water.

Dolphin Swimming Academy is a fully affiliated member of Swim Wales and we teach according to the Aqua Passport philosophy, which has been devised by Swim Wales in association with Sport Wales, and supported by the Welsh Government. This innovative scheme is a key element in the plan to get every child in Wales swimming confidently by the age of 11.

Aqua Passport is a seamless pathway: from a baby’s first experience in the water with an adult, to children who are competent swimmers fully equipped to continue with aquatic activities for the rest of their lives. It has three distinctly branded awards: Splash, Wave and Skills.
