Our motivation is simple…comfort for both horse & rider!

Major neural pathways run through the horse's jaw and poll areas and poorly directed pressure can result in tension and discomfort. Across all equestrian disciplines, high investment is made on tack – saddles are fitted by qualified and experienced saddlers, but many of us have a more blasé approach to the fit of bridles. Ensuring your horse’s bridle fits accordingly and there are no pressure points is essential to the comfort and performance of your horse.

Research has progressed significantly in recent years to show the effects of pressure on the neural pathways and the way it affects our horse’s performance, their willingness and their range of movement and jump. The results have been unequivocally in favour of distributing and reducing this pressure to increase all-around performance. The EquiLove pads achieve this by offering unique shock absorbing and pressure distributing qualities.

Each EquiLove product is beautifully crafted by hand in the UK. The way the stitches are formed during the crochet process is what gives them their unique shock absorbing and pressure distributing properties. The wool used is a carefully considered blend of natural and man-made fibres that is practical and functional, and can be machine washed at 30 degrees. It also has superb wicking properties, allowing moisture to instantly be wicked away from the skin, leaving your horse dry and sweat free. This is particularly useful for horses with sensitive skin and/or allergies.

Our products are extremely user friendly and not discipline specific – we cater for all! They have been tested extensively by riders from across all major disciplines and every item comes in its own individually tailored bag with a year’s guarantee.
