The Grinnigogs play their medieval music with virtuosity, theatricality and a real sense of fun. If you are looking for a full programme of events, The Grinnigogs can also offer a choice of medieval entertainment: fabulous fire-blowers, stilt walkers, wandering minstrels, jugglers, fortune tellers and can provide a medieval band with up to seven musicians.

The Grinnigogs work from a fixed spot or as strolling players and can perform acoustically or with amplification. The jovial jesters perform hilarious medieval entertainment and they will take you back in time on an exciting historical journey!

The musicians play courtly medieval style music as well as the funkiest fusion of Medieval, Celtic, Arabic, and Andalucian music designed to get feet tapping and bodies dancing. The fantastic instrumentalists and singers perform in traditional period costume and deliver theatrical, wild, exciting celebratory medieval music. The band features authentic medieval instruments including: Hurdy-Gurdy, Hammered Dulcimer, Percussion, Violin, Bagpipes and Shawms. They offer a truly up-lifting deeply spiritual experience.

The Grinnigogs have achieved National and International acclaim since they began as medieval entertainers in 1987, having appeared at many prestigious British Arts festivals. They have toured Japan, Eastern Europe, Belgium, Holland and Germany. They offer a wide variety of acts for all kinds of events, and are hugely popular for weddings, street performances, historical sites, corporate themed parties and complete banquet entertainment.
