General information

I started my journey in Somerset where I trained for 2 years in all aspects of hair styling and creative makeup. I ventured into TV and Film and gained some great working relationships for over 5 years working closely with the likes of channel 4, Wildfire productions and Sony entertainment. I did my first wedding 5 years ago and since then I have not looked back. For me weddings are my passion. I love creating beautiful, enhancing natural makeup on clients who perhaps are not used to wearing makeup.

I feel I am making a difference to how that person feels and it gives my clients a massive confidence boost. As much as I love the creative side to TV and film it isn’t as personal as doing makeup and hair on a brides wedding day. Actresses get hair and makeup done every day, so to have a client where hair and makeup is a special treat for a special occasion I feel privileged to be a part of their wedding morning and helping them feel relaxed and beautiful.

My makeup style is very much about enhancing your natural beauty rather than masking it. I feel that each and every person has something unique and beautiful about them and it is my job to polish it using subtle yet effective makeup techniques that will create that flawless radiant finish to your makeup.
When it comes to hairstyling I feel this is where a creative hand comes in to play, as not everybody’s hair is the same. I love trying various hairstyles as this pushes me creatively but ultimately I would say my style is quite Bohemian. I love tumbling romantic waves and loose relaxed up-styles that are not massively fussy but have some texture and attention to detail. I adore flowers in the hair as well as cute art deco vintage pieces.

I use only the best products in my kit that I feel work best for longevity, quality, feel and texture. All products in my kit are high end and are by various brands as I feel each brand has their niche products and not all one brand are good at everything.
