General information

Simon Fell is an associate instructor under the British Combat Association, with over 20 years experience in various Martial Arts. Simon spent almost a decade perfecting the art of KFM under Matthew Frost and spent 6 years as coach at Function First Lincoln and Head coach at Function First Retford. Simon qualified as a KFM coach under Andy Norman, and Urban Krav Maga under Stewart Mcgill.

To this day, Simon still continues to travel the country to train with and under truly remarkable and world renowned names in the industry such as Bob Breen, Alvin Guinanao, Stewart Mcgill and Leo Negao, to ensure the best quality training is delivered to our students.

The Kairos syllabus has influences from KFM, Urban Krav Maga, Panantukan (Filipino Dirty Boxing), Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling & Silat to name a few.

We incorporate a mix of various martial arts techniques and explore how to apply them in self defence. For us the emphasis is on movement, concepts & principles; and not just techniques.

Above all we are a group of people who get together to have fun and develop ourselves, confident that we give the highest standards of training. We dont want to self proclaim our greatness anymore, we want you to decide if we are worthy of such titles.

Proud to say we are a no contract club, no joining fee, just honest, welcoming, inclusive martial arts for men and women of all ages and levels.

Kairos Kids classes offer self defence, personal safety awareness, fitness and development through movement, fun and games. We incorporate some techniques from a few different martial arts, with emphasis on respect, friendship, and life skills. Classes are currently on Saturday mornings, with more classes coming soon.
