General information
Owner David Reid has been involved in Piping and Drumming for over 40 years, having competed in both drumming and piping at Grade One. As Pipe Major of Seven Towers Pipe Band, over a period of 10 years (2003– 2013) he progressed them from Grade Four to Grade One.
After successfully making and selling his own chanter reeds, he then designed his own Chanter. Seven Towers Pipe Band won the world championships in Grade Two (2011) using these chanters and reeds.
He is currently a member of the PSNI Pipe Band, who also use his chanters and reeds. The band’s most successful year was 2016, winning 4 major Championships in Grade Two, at the end of which, they were promoted to Grade One. The Band goes from strength to strength using David Frazer hand crafted products: this year (2017) they have successfully qualified for the World Championship Grade One Finals, a great achievement for a first year newly promoted band.
A number of local, UK and international bands are now using these unique chanters and reeds and continue to reorder these popular products.
