General information

Victoria Smith, Master of Sports and Exercise Medicine and Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Bachelor of Science graduate.

Recently relocated to Newark Chiropractic Clinic, Nottinghamshire. Currently providing sports injury treatments to athletes, individuals, horse riders or sports players in the local area.

Previously worked with rugby, football and AFL teams in England, Australia and New Zealand providing injury assessment, treatments and rehabilitation both on and off the field.

Treated athletes, jockeys and local individuals in New Zealand and Australia and the UK.

Provide injury assessment and treatments for individuals to recover from injuries, improve athletic performance and prevent further injury.

Designed for those suffering from injury, muscle soreness/tightness and those who just want to stay ahead by keeping their body in peak condition.

ABOUT VICTORIA
I have ridden horses since before I could remember, riding racehorses in recent years, eventing, hunting, show jumping... Therefore I understand the aches and pains experienced by riders.
In addition I am a runner, cyclist, rower, and hockey player.

ABOUT TREATMENTS
Through regular treatment sports massage will improve performance by increasing muscle flexibility, strength and conditioning and also aid the recovery process both after injury and from everyday exertions.

Assessments can establish areas of muscle weakness, postural abnormalities or injury. Rehabilitation programmes can then be designed to strengthen and condition these areas in order to increase overall strength and performance.

Treatments can be tailored to your needs from 1/2 hour deep tissue massages to postural and injury assessments. I have access to TENS, provide acupuncture for sports injuries, sports massage and kinesiotaping.
