General information
Lightwater RFC was founded in 1975 after Doug Driver put an advert in the local paper looking for other like minded rugby players. That one small advert created interest and Lightwater RFC was born.
Based at the Lightwater Country Park, we are a small club looking to promote enjoyable rugby. We welcome new players of any experience level, whether you are new to the game or getting a little older but still wishing to play competitive rugby.
We train every Wednesday, 7-9pm, outside Lightwater Leisure Centre and play most Saturday afternoons during the normal rugby season which runs from the end of August to May.
