At Footsteps, we lead guided walks in north Northumberland, UK, England's most northern county, the northern edge of which is also the English/Scottish Border. Our guided walks visit the Northumberland Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its miles of golden sandy beaches and magical castles. We walk in the Northumberland National Park, an area of rolling hills, gentle valleys, high moorland and tranquil landscapes. Finally we walk in the Northumberland countryside too, small towns, villages and hamlets are scattered through the landscape and the county has many great stories to tell.
