Kings Dance Studio

General information

With classes based in Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers, Kings Dance Studio has been teaching dance to people of all ages since 1964. Our range of classes and private lessons caters for students of all ages, from beginner’s right up to competitive level in all styles of dance.

Offering classes in Latin, Ballroom, Freestyle which incorporates Rock n Roll and Street, students may be entered into half yearly exams with the IDTA which enables the students to improve and progress in their dancing, receiving a certificate and award as a result of each exam undertaken.

The school enters in as many local competitions as possible as well as the annual amateur freestyle area championships which has lead us to the Nationwide Championships for 17 years running. We enter in formation style team events and are always looking at involving willing and enthusiastic students in the team environment. We run specialist lessons to allow students who wish to compete the opportunity to receive help and inspiration in creating a routine and practice moves in a controlled and safe environment. We also endeavour to undertake an annual display or show which allows friends and family see what the students have achieved during their classes.
