We have a team of magpies searching for the best of British creative businesses and makers to bring you a gorgeous selection of gifts and home wares to wow! Everything you see here is designed and made by our growing collection of designers and makers in the UK. Working endlessly to bring you new designs and super gorgeous products whilst simultaneously practising their happy dance for when their products are making their way to their new homes!

Walter & May was founded by me, Beth Elsdon, chief magpie at HQ after meeting so many amazingly talented designers who had neither the time nor self promotion confidence to really sell and market their beautiful products. I found some real hidden gems of British design I just had to shout about and share.

We work closely to support our makers and designers as much as possible with their own businesses. We know running business is tough, around family life, full time jobs and that desire to design the next product!
