General information
GB yacht engineering. A company started by myself after spending 15 years overseas working in the yachting industry as a Engineer.
I began my career with the ministry of defence as an apprentice trained marine engineer before going overseas to work with 'Sunsail' yacht charter company working as a base and flotilla engineer in the Mediterranean then working further afield in there Maldives and seychelles bases as chief engineer.
After 8 years with Sunsail the superyacht industry was a natural progression where I worked on some of the largest yachts in the world as a chief engineer! During this time I was lucky enough to spend 4 1/2 yeas on the classic 50 mtr schooner 'Eleonora' with the highlight of my career in the industry being sailing the 'round the island race with Sir Ben Ainslie at the helm.
During my time in the superyacht industry I achieved the qualification of a Y3 engineer as regulated by the Maritime and coastguard agency.
I am now looking to bring my experience and expertise as a superyacht engineer to the UK cruising yacht market at a competitive price.
