General information
The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) is the governing body for league and cup cricket for both Senior and Junior cricketers throughout Northern Ireland.
The Senior league structure consists of 4 senior leagues with the Premier League the most senior of these. There are 9 Junior leagues for 2nd XI teams and below, all of which provide competitive cricket for all ages and abilities.
There are 5 Senior Cup Competitions - Ulster Bank Challenge Cup, Junior Cup, Intermediate Cup, Minor (Lindsay) Cup and the Minor Qualifying Cup.
There are three Twenty 20 competitions - Cup (Premier League teams), Trophy (League Section 1), Shield (League Sections 2 and 3).
There is also a Midweek league which is more of a social league and consists of 20 over games played on midweek evenings.
There are under age League and Cup competitions that provide competitive cricket for young players at Under 17, Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 age groups.
