1st For Life was originally set up by Paramedic Tobie and his wife who is a Doctor. They became all too aware that not enough people (especially parents) know what to do in a serious life-threatening emergency. As a fully-qualified paramedic, Tobie can recall numerous emergencies within his career where basic life saving skills had not been performed prior to medical service attention, resulting in the serious decline of the persons health and, in some cases, death. This can be avoided with a little knowledge and simple skills.
Our tutors are specialists in their field - Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians who have all had intensive experience of working on the frontline of the NHS for the busiest ambulance service in the world.
