North Enfield Food Bank

Who are we?
Working as part of the Trussel Trust, the North Enfield Foodbank provides emergency food to individuals and families in crisis in Enfield. Set up by Jubilee Church (Reg. Charity No. 1060644) and opened in April 2012, the Foodbank has fed over 19,000 people in our community.

How does it work?
Front line agencies in the community refer clients they come into contact with who are in a crisis situation using a red voucher. The voucher entitles the client to 3 days worth of nutritionally balanced food and they collect their food at our distribution centre. They are welcomed in, given tea or coffee and the opportunity to talk to one of our volunteers who can signpost them to any other services that may be able to help resolve the crisis situation.

Donating food! Anyone can donate food and everything donated makes a difference to stop people going hungry.
