Ameno Stonemasons

General information

Over the years Ameno Stonemasons have worked all over Scotland on a variety of projects, from pointing harbour walls to restoring the tenement buildings of Edinburgh. We enjoy using our skills to restore old buildings in a way that respects the age and integrity of the building.

We also take equal enjoyment out of working on modern projects such as rendering garden planters and walls, helping create a modern tidy appearance to your garden.

Lithomex repairs are a speciality - this is a lime based product which doesn't contain any cement therefore allowing the natural stone to breathe, ensuring moisture is not retained in the stonework. Lithomex can be used to re-surface a piece of stone were there is only cosmetic damage, in the right hands it can be used to look just like natural stone.

We have built up a wealth of experience in our trade, and enjoy what we do (even when standing on a scaffold in the middle of winter) and take great personal pride in our work.
