Hillfolk Illustration

General information

I'm an artist and graphic designer, living on the sunny English Riviera in Devon, UK. After gaining a degree in Fine Art, I had a brief stint as a teacher, before finding my way into graphic design. Fifteen years on and I am the lead designer for my local council, as well as running my own freelance business.
However, my first passion has always been art, and I was inspired as a child by my grandfather's sketchbook that he took on his travels to the Far East, full of portraits of people who had been unknowingly captured going about their daily lives. I've always longed to find a way to incorporate my artistic passion into my working life and hopefully, through my Hillfolk, I can do so, whilst creating a unique illustration for you to enjoy.
