General information

They say that we are a nation of dog lovers, well here at Paws Outdoors that is most certainly the case. Having grown up in a household of dogs from birth, it seemed a natural progression to do what I love best – caring, loving and providing a happy and healthy environment for man’s best friend, the dog.

We have our own neutered 8 year old male Weimaraner called Harry. Harry has been used to help teach puppies acceptable doggy behaviour as well as offer a calming influence to younger dogs. Harry is not perfect by any means but I don’t think any dogs are and I’m sure you will agree. We love him dearly and involve him in everything we do in day-to-day life to help him be a more rounded dog socially. He has lots of doggie friends such as Saba (a white Labradoodle), Ty and Cass (Collies) Joshka (Hungarian Vizsla) and Merlot a young Springer. He plays and interacts with all types and age groups regularly plus loves traveling out with us in our motorhome at weekends.

My background is office based and has been for over 20 years, however this has involved working at a dog training centre in Wales where I learnt a lot about interaction with mans best friend and how to understand body language and behavior. I am not a specialist but I have a broad understanding and am continually learning as I progress and meet new doggie clients. I am confident that I can help you get the best out of your dog.

They come in all colours, shapes and sizes, each with their own individual personalities, needs and dislikes. This is something that I always take into consideration and is high on my list of priorities, so please rest assured that your precious family member will be loved and in the best possible hands whilst in my care, whether it be out on one of our daily walks or overnight Doggy Boarding your pooch will be loved as much as my own.

My dog walking service will give your dog something to look forward to every day. Dogs require both physical and mental stimulation just like humans do and if they have proper exercise on a daily basis it will energise their body, mind and spirit.

Overweight dogs age prematurely and that extra walk will definitely help your dog lose some of those unwanted pounds improving their health and their interaction with you and your family.

Is your pooch destructive when left alone? Some dog behavioural problems are the result of isolation, boredom and insufficient exercise. Your dog will behave better if exercised regularly and if so you will have a happy healthy well balanced dog that will be a pleasure to be around when at home. Try it, it works!
