General information

Our annual programme of London concerts in prestigious venues, showcase the extraordinary professional talents of these emerging young artists. The concerts give them the crucial opportunity to perfect their craft and to be seen by the public and professionals in the industry.

Another vital aspect of our work is the Concordia Young Audiences Children’s Educational Programme. This initiative provides much needed music and art workshops and concerts for young people. Developed in association with Wilton’s Music Hall, six productions have been presented, often giving many young people their first positive experience of live music, reaching out from the heart of London to the world.

An exciting part of our work is our monthly contact with the Chelsea and Westminster hospital as part of their hospital arts programme. It is a privilege for our young musicians to perform publicly in the hospital atrium, followed by ward visits to comfort the patients, often children, and staff with their music.
We have established important links with primary schools in Tower Hamlets over 6 years. our musicians work with the schools on interactive and collaborative projects that help the children explore their creative side within a curriculum setting. These young audiences projects are crowned regularly with live performances at Wilton's Music Hall.

A large part of our work takes place overseas. We have travelled the globe with performances in places such as china, Vietnam, Romania and Africa. During these visits, which combine educational workshops, performances and master classes, we have generated thrilling and life changing experiences. These trips have displayed the true meaning of the power of music, which has benefited not only student, but teacher as well.
