At the Santa Maria Bellydance Academy we welcome all kinds of women women who are ready to dedicate some time to themselves and try something inspiring, different and fun yet engaging and challenging enough to stick at and return to week after week. Through our bellydance classes we offer a learning experience that cultivates women's confidence and sense of fun!

We deliver bellydance instruction in easy-to-follow classes that teach you the movements of bellydance step by step. Each class and course has a clear structure so students feel a sense of progress that motivates them to come to class each week. We are slightly different from exercise or Zumba Fitness classes because there is no pressure or expectation to burn calories or shed weight. Because of this, our students feel empowered to bring out their feminine side and enjoy bellydancing from the very first class!
