Anna Hovesen is a Complementary Therapist offering Foot Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Dr Vodder), Combined Decongestive Therapy (Dr Vodder), Japanese Cosmo Facial Lift and Indian Head Massage.

Anna has been practising therapies for over 10 years now. Fundamentally, Anna’s focal point is to make her clients feel at ease and to build a good rapport. Dedication to her work as a therapist has meant that Anna travels extensively to discover and research new techniques from around the world which she incorporates into her treatments.

A core strength of Anna’s work is to focus on the root of the problem as this is often where our symptoms manifest and this together with maintaining a high professional standard is where Anna’s therapies are helping people to improve their quality of lives both physically and emotionally.

Employed by the NHS on a part time basis to provide a holistic approach by giving massage and reflexology to patients and their carer’s at The Priscilla Bacon Lodge in Norwich, Anna ensures the delivery of the highest quality of care.

What to expect

The treatments Anna offers are a fusion of all the therapies she offers. This creates a unique treatment that is best suited to your needs. The treatments often comprise of a consultation, postural alignment, muscle testing, exercises and of course, bodywork.
Anna has also worked extensively with ailments such as lymphedema, sciatica (root cause and muscular), hip mobility, muscular tension, carpel tunnel syndrome, pregnancy oedema, migraines, shoulder and neck tension, stress, fertility and much more.
Anna has a personal desire to continually strive for the best outcomes for clients and is receptive to new techniques in order to create the best treatment. Anna is a firm believer in the well-known adage that prevention is better than cure and therefore frequently recommends a regular regime of massage or reflexology which should be viewed as integral to healthy living and not just seen as a luxurious pleasure.
