"I have been painting and drawing all my life or certainly as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of art was my very first day at Dyce Primary School in Aberdeenshire. I was 5 years old. Because it was our first day the teachers gave all the children modeling clay to play with. I did'nt like it so the teacher gave me some paper and a pencil. I drew a fish and was told it was very good. The teachers praise must have inspired me somehow as I still love creating art today."
