General information

Hello, I'm Clare and I'm an Ofsted registered Childminder. I offer flexible, affordable childcare in a caring environment where your child can feel safe and loved. I hold an Ofsted approved Paediatric First Aid certificate, I'm DBS Checked, data protection registered and I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)

I live in South Beach, Blyth, Northumberland with my husband and children. Our house is a spacious, extended home, which boasts lots of space for children to play and learn in.
We have a large garden filled with equipment to keep children stimulated and active.

I offer a wide variety of activities including: arts and crafts; cooking; messy play; storytelling; gardening, looking for mini beasts and so much more.
I plan to take the children on outings to parks, playgroups and libraries on a daily basis however during the school holidays we travel further afield to museums, castles and farms to give the children a greater and broader understanding of the world.

Our house is very close to Bede Academy, Bede Primary and Newsham Primary schools

My Experience
As a mother and a childminder, I hold over 11 years of experience and understanding of looking after children. Having worked for over 9 years in a special school in Belfast I have extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with the majority of disabilities and special care requirements. As a working mother it has also given me an appreciation of how difficult it can be to leave a child in the care of others. So I am certain I am equipped to support you with your childcare requirements.
