SHOTO clubs are dedicated to the teaching of traditional karate, passed down unadulterated through generations of masters. Head and Founder of SHOTO - Hanshi Mick Randall MBE - was one of the original students of the world-famous Master Hirokazu Kanazawa. Master Kanazawa, was a student of Master Nakayama, who in turn was taught by the founder of Shotokan karate - Master Gichin Funakoshi, this gives our club its unique heritage.
