If you are looking for a quality used piano that doesn't cost the earth then you have come to the right place. My Carefully selected pianos are tuned and serviced prior to sale. You will have your piano delivered to you ready to play and in full working order.

all my pianos are sold from my own home in my temperature controlled store. This means huge savings are passed onto you!

Delivery

Professional delivery of your piano within Leicestershire will be around £50 + £1 per mile outside of the Leicestershire border. Please contact us with full details of the delivery site for example, parking, steps, awkward corners etc. for an accurate quote.

Moving a piano - contrary to popular belief does not usually make a piano go out of tune. If a piano is moved from one room to another within a uniformally heated house, then it is unlikely to go out of tune (even if it is being moved up or down stairs). If the piano however is being moved to a different location which has dissimilar conditions then it will almost certainly need tuning 2-3 months after it has been moved.

Tuning

All Pianos will be tuned prior to delivery. I will state if the piano is tuned to 'concert' pitch. Often with older pianos, if a piano has been left without being tuned for a number of years, they can go out of pitch as well as tune. I will tune the piano to the pitch where it currently is. If you try to tune an old piano to concert pitch then the stress could snap the strings and damage the mechanics inside the piano.

As a rough guide, a beginner/casual player would have the piano tuned 12-24 months, a serious player once every 6 months.
