I am an independent business psychologist, coach, BPS registered Psychometric Test User and trainer.

As a business psychologist with 20 years experience as a senior executive in marketing, a husband and father, my approach to coaching is built on the science of psychology and inspired by my professional and personal experiences. I have created and delivered business solutions to meet a wide range of client needs, including: change management, performance management; graduate recruitment; career development; on-boarding and personal development.

In my previous career as a marketer in the entertainment industry, including Head of Marketing for Mute, Tartan Films and Independiente, I managed teams and projects for a number of very different organisations. The experience enabled me to develop an understanding of the many challenges that leaders and managers face in the entertainment industry. Particularly in highly turbulent and fast moving environments. I have worked at the sharp end of the digital revolution and have developed essential insights into the very personal psychological impact of on-going change.

I specialise in enabling people to think, feel and behave in ways that allows them to grow personally and professionally. Taking a solutions focused, strengths based approach I work with the coachee to identify their strengths. We then explore and challenge any unhelpful thinking and enable them to better understand and manage their emotions. These insights inform the coachee’s strategies, equipping them with the tools needed to build and maintain effective working relationships with any stakeholder. Improving team dynamics, enhancing performance and building resilience. Especially during change.
