Rooted in the ancient classical Hatha style, Shamayoga is an inspired and integrated eclectic approach to learning and teaching yoga in the 21st century.
In yoga tradition Shama refers to the conscious harmony of the Whole Self - awareness, body, mind and emotions.
For Yoga practitioners wanting to deepen their knowledge we offer a one year teacher training course.
For beginners and advanced alike we offer workshops yoga retreats, ongoing yoga classes.
Steve Avian is the founder of the Shamayoga school. He is an internationally qualified (FRYOG- ICM) yoga teacher with over 30 years experience of yoga and has been teaching yoga for over 18 years. He has studied yoga in the UK, India, Europe and the USA. He is also a member of the Yoga Alliance and the Independent Yoga Network.
