General information
We are members of Aikido UK , which is a non-profit making organisation that aims to cultivate and develop the co-ordination of mind and body using the principles of Ki. It was founded in May 2000 by Sensei William Andrew.
The head instructor of our club is Sensei Richard Firestone (4th Dan) who is assisted by his student Greg Sayers (3nd Dan).
We teach Aikido twice a week at the Kinning Park Complex. Located just beside kinning park underground.
Sunday 8:00pm to 8:30pm
Wednesday 8:00pm to 9:30pm
Aikido empty hand forms, Bokken, Jo and tanto techniques are all taught. Self defense and how to deal with multiple attackers. We also cover the principles of Ki - with mind and body coordination.
