General information

Gunsmoke Paintball Colchester Essex is an extreme paintball site with a variety of fields for your paintballing pleasure.

The site is built on 31 acres of woodland, boasts a purpose built safezone, with flushing toilets and a 5 star rated food center, we have 5 game zones at the moment to test your wits, 2017 will bring at least another 3-4 game zones.
The games zones are close to the safe zone, so you don’t have to walk miles to play your games, ONLY 5 game zones I hear you say, we are not the biggest paintball site, but we aim to give you the best service we can, we are a smaller family run site, but this gives us advantage over others as we can interact more with our customers, and are game zones have been made to test your game play to a max.

GAME 1
BAND OF BROTHERS
Call of duty players will know this as kill confirm, both teams start with arm bands on there guns, as you get shot, you drop the arm bands and head back to the dead box, the only way to get back in to the game is for your team mates to get those arm back to your base, you can then play on, but be careful, run out of arm bands the other team will over run you and win the game.

GAME 2
SUPPLY DROP
Mission to collect the drums, red ones are worth 2 points, black ones are worth 1 point, collect as many as you can, team with the most points from the drums will earn the final game point, not a easy game as the other team are trying to do the same thing, drums are hidden all around with marsh land to one side and dense woodland trees the other.

GAME 3
SILO
Loads of plastic drums spread out across a open field, nothing else to hide behind, its fast and furious, NO flags NO bombs its total annihilation of the other team, lots of angles to watch out for, do you stay at the back ? do you move forward ? can you make it to the snake and shoot in field ?? where will you go.

GAME 4
CRISS CROSS
Capture the flags, spread out all around the straw bails are white flags, collect as many as you can and get them back to your base camp, team with the most flags will win the game, watch out for the base camp swipes though, all that hard work could well be wasted if you dont look after what you have taken.

GAME 5
AIRFIELD
Fight it out in and around the massive real wessex helicopter and the real jet planes, use the barricades to wipe out the other time, located deep in the heart of the woods, not as easy as it looks and sounds, watch out for the enemy fire they can reach you from the start keep your head down and get to cover.

GAME 6
DUEL (NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED)
This is the hardest game at Gunsmoke, it will take team work to beat the other team, and lots and lots of guts, if you don’t push forward you will lose ground, if you lose ground you will lose the buzzer, object of the game, we use the criss cross field, each team starts at either end, teams have to make it to the center, deep in the center of the field are two lights and two red buttons, you have to hit the buttons to score point, but be aware the other team is trying to do the same thing, who can score the most time on DUEl.

Spend a fun day playing paintball with your friends, co-workers. Individuals are welcome too, so even if you don't have a group to go with, we can always accommodate as there are often many individual bookings.

We can even cater for the younger players (12-16 year olds) so if you want to play you can, we even offer you a special rate too £30 gets you all the gear and 500 paintballs.

We also cater for walk-on players with their own equipment, this walk on day is set out once a month for players with there own equipment to come and play and is held the 1st Sunday of every month, price is £10 green fee and £40 for a box of 2000 paintballs.
