ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENTS

Botox or Botulinum type A has been used safely around the world for several decades. It has therefore become a popular, safe and convenient method of reducing or eliminating wrinkles on the forehead or around the eyes. Some clients start using Botox in their mid twenties, it is extremely useful in preventing wrinkles and some are using it in their eighties to achieve their desired effect.

Botox works by freezing the muscle responsible for causing the wrinkle, but the art of botox is to achieve this without losing character or expression. This effect of your face looking smoother and more refreshed normally lasts between 3 & 4 months when the treatment is usually repeated again. After a few treatments sometimes the frequency in which the treatment requires repeating is reduced.

The procedure takes around 15 minutes. It is not painful although there is some slight stinging. The area will be a little red after the injection but this will only last about an hour, enabling you to have the procedure performed during lunch if required.

It takes several days for Botox to start to work and can take up to 2 weeks to be fully effective.

Botox is usually priced per area.There are 3 areas:
a). Around the eyes - (crows feet)
b). The forehead - (forehead lines)
c). Frown lines - (Between your eyebrows)

CHEMICAL SKIN PEELS

Chemical skin peels are one of the most frequently requested medical cosmetic treatments in the UK. Not only do chemical peels remove the superficial layers of skin (epidermis), they also stimulate production of the body's own source of collagen which is the substance in the skin responsible for providing its elasticity.

We believe that regular peels, provide an excellent anti-ageing regime. Over time (aprox 6 months to 1 year) your skin will appear fresher and younger looking and fine lines will disappear.

Treatments start from £30.

DERMAL FILLERS

A dermal filler is used either to remove wrinkles, in a different way to Botox, or to augment certain features. Essentially it is an 'implant', in the form of a gel which is injected under the skin to fill a wrinkle. Equally it can be injected into the lips to make them appear fuller or just to define their shape. We use the finest products which are made of a substance naturally found in the body and therefore naturally biogrades within the body.

Using Dermal Fillers can add volume and sculpt areas of the face and if used for lip enhancement can add volume and sculpt your lips, leaving them fuller and refreshed.

DERMAROLLER TREATMENTS

DermaRoller therapy is a safe, simple and effective treatment for scarring, stretch marks and wrinkles by generating new collagen synthesis and stimulating new skin regeneration. After DermaRoller therapy you will have smoother skin and a youthful glow.

As the face undergoes a DermaRoller, micro needles penetrate through the epidermis, opening the skin and initiating the skin’s natural healing process, increasing production of many important aspects for healthy skin. New collagen and elastin is created - these are fibers within the skin responsible for its strength, flexibility and elasticity. When this process is repeated over time, the skin becomes thicker and damage is gradually repaired.

DermaRoller treatment also increases the blood supply to the skin, which is needed for cell regeneration and slows down ageing. This advanced micro-medical Collagen Induction Therapy leads to younger looking skin which is bright and healthy in appearance.

HYPERHIDROSIS TREATMENT

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating. This condition, whilst not posing a serious health threat, can be uncomfortable, painful if skin irritation is caused, and even embarrassing.

For some, strong antiperspirants can decrease the sweat and resulting damp patches, but if you are someone who this solution is inadequate for, Hyperhidrosis treatment could be the answer.

If you are tired of sweat stains, dry cleaning bills and odour, Hyperhidrosis is quick, simple and effective, using the well known product Botox®.

Hyperhidrosis treatment uses Botox® to prevent the underarm sweat glands from producing excess sweat and becomes effective 3-5 days after treatment. Results can last up to 8 months.
