Corkscrew Thinking’ is the original term for creative problem solving, it's first use was during World War II when Winston Churchill was looking to recruit 'out of the box' thinkers to impact the current war efforts. It gained popularity after Corkscrew Thinkers launched Operation Mincemeat – the most successful military deception since the Trojan Horse.
