ESOL Study Centre delivers English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses. We specialise in ESOL A1, B1 and Life in the UK (courses for Citizenship and Settlement)

As per UKVI guidelines, any applicant who is applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain or for Naturalisation is required to demonstrate a good knowledge of English and Life in the UK

Training is provided by a qualified and registered teacher having experience of teaching ESOL, helping learners to achieve their goals. Sangeeta is experienced in the learning journey, from initial and diagnostic assessment to final assessment, delivering tailor-made courses according to the individual needs of the learners. Training is classroom based and will focus on gaining the required knowledge and skills.

The courses will include:
• Initial Assessment of your language levels
• A syllabus focusing on B1/A1 preparation and Mock Tests
• A syllabus focusing on life in the UK – theory and practice tests
• Driving Theory Test Practice with translations in Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi

Our centre is located in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. We are close to the Central Station and St Enoch Centre is close by.

Trinity GESE A1/B1 EXAM Training

GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English) test candidates' ability in listening and speaking. They are one-to-one oral examinations with a native English-speaking Trinity examiner. These exams are meant for those who have learnt English as a foreign, second or additional language.

There are 12 GESE grades organised into four developmental stages: Initial, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. These 12 grades which are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

GESE Grade 2 and Grade 5 exams are approved for UK visa or settlement purposes.

Grade 2 (ESOL Entry 1 on the NQF*/ A1 on the CEFR*) is approved by the UKVI (UK-Visas-and-Immigration) for use in:
• Spouse/Partner visa applications FLR (M)
• Parents of Dependents visa applications FLR (O)
• Family life as a partner/parents/Private life in the UK (5-10 year route) FLR (FP)

Grade 5 (ESOL Entry 3 on the NQF* / B1 on the CEFR*) is approved by the UKVI (UK-Visas-and-Immigration) for use in:
• Settlement/ILR and Naturalisation applications
