General information

At Lucas Cook Guitar Tuition I specialise in guitar lessons that empower you rather than constrain you. I help people solve their guitar playing problems and guide them to become happier and more fulfilled musicians. I also help beginners by making sure they have a good understanding of the basics and develop a true love of playing and performing even if it's something very simple. I send out a newsletter every week that is designed to help anyone who is currently learning the guitar. It is probably the most valuable work I do and is completely free. Sign up on my website.

I run a kids ukulele club and have run several adult groups. I offer private ukulele tuition and have started to use then RSL syllabus which is a lot of fun.

I perform music regularly and in the past have toured both the UK and the US mainly with Plain English. You can preview our album on iTunes. I play in several other bands including a rock covers band and a very cool acoustic project called The Wild Turkeys .

My newest venture is Rock Guitar Tutor Online and when it is up and running will offer very specific online courses aimed at very personal learning challenges. It's coming soon.
