General information
Auld Mill Alpacas, in Morayshire in the North East of Scotland, is one of Scotland's largest breeding herds of alpacas.
We aim to breed healthy and content alpacas with excellent fleece on a sound frame. We particularly appreciate alpacas' brilliant range of colours and we are delighted to have many colours within our herd.
We occasionally release young males and breeding females for sale, including pregnant females and females with cria at foot.
We offer a lifetime's support to our alpacas' purchasers and every alpaca goes to its new home with full documentation, BAS registration completed, and is fully halter-trained. Free husbandry training begins before delivery and husbandry support is offered post-purchase too, in person where logistically feasible.
We are a closed herd and have very high herd health and biosecurity standards. We work closely with our vet, test all incoming animals for bTB prior to purchase, and screen for BVD.
