Sharpe Graphic Design

General information

I am an extremely experienced graphic designer, and having worked for 25 years on AppleMacs am expert at QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word.

Over the years I've designed and laid out hundreds of books and book covers. I am capable of taking a project from initial brief to press PDF, and I am fully experienced in pre-press protocols. I've also produced thousands of technical illustrations, and am an experienced landscape photographer.

I've worked on AppleMacs since they created their first DTP bundle. I have set up the internal networks and fixed hardware and software problems. I've used QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop since their first published versions, so I am strongly positioned to make best use of their advantages, while being able to flag up any potential pitfalls.

I already have experience in the use of many digital delivery software packages, as well as being aware of the possible repurposing of print projects for digital use. I am presently learning the use of HTML5 and am very excited by the flexibility it offers for all digital design, over the majority of delivery platforms.
