Opened in 2014 Tyn Y Coed is located in the rural village of Creigiau, hidden amongst the breath taking valleys of South Wales. Open 365 days of the year, we have created two luxurious self catering accommodation options in The Barn and The Lodge both of which are perfect to help you relax, enjoy your holiday and forget about the hustle and bustle of your everyday life.

Only 10 minutes away from J34 of the M4 and approximately 15-20 minutes from Cardiff city centre, one of Europe’s most lively cities, Tyn Y Coed is perfectly located to all the major attractions the city has to offer but still far enough away for those searching for a relaxing retreat. Whether you're looking to explore the best of the Welsh countryside, sharpen up your golf at one of the local courses, hit the local shops or just recharge your batteries then Tyn Y Coed is perfectly placed to meet your requirements.

Tyn Y Coed is an eco-friendly site with the energy for both The Barn and The Lodge being powered by newly-installed solar panels. The Barn sleeps eight guests in four immaculate double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The Barn also has a large living space which includes a lounge, kitchen and dining area along with a secure and neat garden that also includes outdoor furniture and a barbeque, perfect for dining alfresco on Welsh summer evenings overlooking wonderful views over the valley.

The Lodge sleeps two people in a one double bedroom home. Both The Barn and The Lodge have been enhanced to provide a number of facilities for guests with disabilities.
