General information

Twinkletoes is a privately owned pre-school for 2 - 5 year old children, and provide wrap around care between the hours of 8am and 4pm, and an after school club between 3.30pm and 6pm, also a holiday club and breakfast club.
We are situated in Trimley St Martin Methodist hall, rented from the Methodist Church.
Our aim is to provide a caring and safe environment where each child can express itself as an individual.
We will take them on a learning journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage through play, providing educational skills in a fun, happy and relaxed pre-school.
Twinkletoes is somewhere for them to make friends, have fun and develop.

ETHOS
We provide a caring, safe environment with a home from home atmosphere where each child can express themselves as an individual. The children have opportunities to play with ideas in different situations with a rich variety of resources enhancing their ability to think creatively, critically and ask questions, developing self-identity and self-esteem, within the Twinkletoes pre-school community.

STAFF.
Our friendly staff are always on hand to help with any queries. Sara holds an Early Years Degree with Early Years Professional Status, then all of the staff have their DPP or level 3 equivalent. 7 members of staff have a L3 qualification in play work.
Our staff ratio is 1 adult to every 4, 2year olds and one adult to every 8, 3 year olds. There will always be a qualified first aider at every session. Our staff say “the pre-school is a home from home, a friendly caring, safe environment where the staff and children can enjoy themselves”. Our parents think that safety is good and the staff are very friendly and approachable.

HOW WE OPERATE.
Our pre-school runs 2 sessions per day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Morning session begins at 9-15am and finishes at 12-15pm,
Afternoon session begins at 12-45pm and finishes at 3-45pm.
We open at 8-15am and close at 6-00pm for those who need wrap around care.
