General information

I am a singing teacher, vocal and live performance coach based in Glasgow, working with amateur to professional singers.

My industry experience includes recording contracts with independent and major record labels. I was a member of the cult collective THIS MORTAL COIL on 4AD Records, lead vocalist for THE HOPE BLISTER on 4AD Records, and lead vocalist for THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS, a project with award-winning composer CRAIG ARMSTRONG on Interscope Records in the US. I have over 30 years’ experience in the music industry as an internationally-selling artist and have combined that experience with formal music qualifications from Stow College Glasgow to provide a comprehensive and technically sound approach to my tuition.

I have extensive live performance experience, incorporating major venues to small arts centres and theatres.

In addition, I have qualifications in coaching and counselling so can offer a unique service in ensuring clients set and reach goals, and work especially well with those lacking in confidence.

I offer one-hour lessons from a convenient city centre location and in the inspiring atmosphere of a music college with professional facilities.
