Osteopathy is a way of working with the whole body to treat medical conditions such as aches, arthritic and joint pains, back ache, muscle cramps/spasms/tension, frozen shoulder, rheumatic pains, sciatic pain, circulation problems, and minor sports injuries etc.
It uses a combination of massage, movement, manipulation, and stretching to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms, by encouraging blood and neurological supply to the skeletal and muscular systems.
It is coupled with other advice on posture, exercises, and other means to prevent reoccurrence of symptoms.
