Cycling Freedom

General information

Cycling Freedom is an organisation that supports inclusive cycling, with specialist equipment and coaching. Inclusive cycling is about making cycling available to everyone, creating awareness of cycling as a great way to get about and to keep fit, no matter what age you are, your cycling ability or other personal challenges you may face. If needed we can provide a wide range of adapted bikes, trikes and handbikes, that along with the right level of support from our coaches will allow even more people to experience the benefits of cycling, from the first time on a bike to the highest levels of performance.

We have British Cycling qualified Road, Time Trial and Track coaches, which work with groups and individuals, providing physical coaching plans as well as personal session support, such as power testing, pursuit planning and derny sessions. We work with a wide variety of riders, from youth riders to veterans, from riders just taking up racing having previously been leisure cyclists to riders looking to achieved National titles and some that are now working on securing a place on team GB for Tokyo.

One to one coaching is designed for each individual rider to help them to find ways to achieve their personal goals, whatever they maybe. We are well used to working with riders balancing the demands of work, family life and training, so we don’t just send out standard monthly plans, we work with each rider to maximize the training time they have by having strong connections with them. That isn’t to say we don’t set high expectations, but they need to be agreed challenging targets that help motivate the riders to achieve each step towards achieving the big end goals.
