We specialize in French decorative antiques, distressed painted antique furniture, unusual vintage objets for the home as well as for the garden space, a small mix of vintage industrial, and some artwork we feel complements the ‘look’.
HISTORY
Branching Out was first launched 16 years ago from a small corner shop in Harbour street in the fashionable seaside town of Whitstable in Kent. Within the first year it quickly moved to larger premises in Tankerton, just a few miles away, due to its instant success amongst local house owners and visitors alike as well as the interior design trade.
Branching Out Antiques is now back at Waterlock House, an old seed merchant’s premise in Wingham, near Canterbury. The shop and the long barn to the side is stocked with a wide variety of decorative antiques, whilst on the top floor of the house is a quirky loft apartment available for Bed & Breakfast, with its own entrance door.
