General information

In 2014 I enrolled on a post graduate counselling course at Keele University. Little did I know how much this would change my life.

I’ve always been interested in Psychology and human behaviour and after having my daughter in 2012 this felt like the ideal next step for me. I could use my creative skills (I’m a qualified Graphic Designer and before daughter ran a cake design business), learn how to help people and work around family life.

I wasn’t prepared for the personal change which occurred. I now understand why I used to worry about things to the nth degree. I no longer feel overwhelmed about what ‘should’ eat and how I ‘should’ look. And my relationships with others have strengthen immensely.

As part of my training in 2016 and 17 I’ve been counselling NHS staff and patients. With these clients I realised I’d a passion and talent for helping people with high anxiety and/or those who’ve experienced trauma. I’ve now completed my training and looking forward to seeing clients in my private practice. I'm qualified to see adults and children.
