The Garden Buildings Centre (GBC) was founded in 1986 at Webbs of Wychbold, near Droitwich, Worcester. We have grown to become the UK's premier retailer of quality garden and leisure buildings with branches throughout the UK. We are also now the UK's leading retailer for The Malvern Collection, a large range of garden buildings built by MPB. The reasons for this success are many and varied - as a family company we have always been able to move quickly to keep abreast of ever changing designs and product improvements.
We have always had an eye for detail and quality of presentation, which gives us a highly competitive edge, and our display centres are always clean, well merchandised and staffed with people who really know what they are talking about.
The garden industry in general has grown enormously over the last 26 years and GBC have benefited from the groundswell of interest in making the garden a part of everyday leisure. We work alongside a small group of companies to bring exciting products to the market, which have quality and function in mind, as much as price.
While we are always very conscious of the importance of price, we also recognise that buildings have to last many, many years so we never sell products just because they are cheap.
Our expansion has taken place during the last 13 years, with new branches opening at many of Britain's top garden centres. With branches operating from Dorset to Scotland, GBC are now within easy travelling distance of millions of people. The internet has also brought many millions more within reach.
