At Lets Act we are passionate about giving confidence to young people through developing their performance skills.
The aim of the classes are –
• To encourage children to work as a team
• To improve communication and articulation
• To train the children in all aspects of acting
The skills acquired in drama classes are not just beneficial to those wanting a career in the arts. The communication skills learnt will greatly aid the children’s public speaking, presentation skills and interview
technique.
Every term with Lets Act is different and exciting. Typical terms could be
• Working towards an end of term play.
• Looking at different poems and how to perform them.
• Devising our own work through improvisation.
• Writing our own play and performing it.
• Working on Choral speaking.
