Sometimes life events can overwhelm us and we can fee stuck and unable to find a way forward. At other times we just need someone who will really listen to us and treat us with respect. At these times talking to a professional can be helpful. It takes great courage to ask for help. The therapeutic relationship relationship is different from other relationships because it is all about you, the client. I am pleased that you are considering whether counselling could help you. It is vital that a trusting relationship is built up which is supportive and non-judgmental. My hope in facilitating this process is to empower you and help you find resources within yourself.
