Cantosa Farm

General information

We are a family run farm in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. The farm was originally a Cherry Orchard containing many old fashioned traditional Cherry Trees as well as some Plum Trees. These days many of the original trees remain and still produce fruit.
The farm has been running for over 40 years initially farming sheep and cattle as well as fruit and vegetables. The produce was sold to major London wholesale markets.
The farm is now being run on a smaller scale producing fruit, vegetables and flowers to retail customers in the local area.

Hanging Baskets, Bedding Plants etc
Our range of beautiful hanging baskets includes various Fuchsias, Begonias Geraniums and other flowers. We have also added bedding plants, vegetable plants and shrubs to our range. Our hanging baskets are unique and contain displays to cater for most tastes and budgets. We include professional grade compost, water retention gel and slow release fertiliser in all of our baskets. We offer great value products grown to a professional standard. Wholesale orders for next year are also welcome.

Fruit and Vegetable Boxes
At Cantosa Farm we put our time and effort into producing top quality seasonal fruit and vegetables. It is important to note that we are not registered as Organic, however we opt for local manure and other natural fertilisers over chemical fertilisers and we do not use synthetic pesticides unless we have exhausted organic methods first.
There are no contracts with our boxes. You can either order a one off or a regular delivery which can be cancelled at any time. Regular customers enjoy receiving their weekly box in our farm made crates made out of recycled pallets.
We are lucky enough to have some traditional cherry and plum trees here at the farm as well as a large strawberry patch and large polytunnels. Our fruit and vegetable boxes are of the best quality and anything we can't grow here on the farm will be sourced in locally from our carefully selected partners. We believe that the produce we sell is of a much better standard to what is sold in the supermarkets.
During the winter months as produce from the UK is scarce we may include products from outside the UK. When something extra special is available from abroad we will also include this too.
Unlike other veg box suppliers, our best produce is included in our boxes rather than as an added extra. Last year we included Victoria Plums, Russet Apples, greengages and home grown melons etc. We offer free delivery to The Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield and Denham. We also have a round in the Reading and Watford areas. Please feel free to message us to check whether we can deliver in your area.

We regularly update our Facebook page with how the seedlings, planting and general growing is coming along.
