Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based on the latest research and Neuroscience and is highly effective in treating a range of disorders that can affect emotional, mental and physical well being. This type of Hypnotherapy is more than just hypnosis. It is a powerful combination of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. It is a forward thinking which means I won’t be digging into your past or analysing any painful traumas or previous experiences.
Many of my clients come to me with the effects of anxiety, stress and depression. These disorders can be hugely disabling and manifest in many different ways such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD’s), over or under eating, drinking too much, insomnia, panic attacks, nervousness, nail biting or Trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling).
I offer an initial consultation during which a short health history will be taken. This will give us an opportunity to identify your specific needs and develop an individual treatment plan for you. This is followed by a simple explanation of how the brain works – people often find this reassuring that they will regain control of their lives.
