Halifax Piano Teacher Company Information
General information
I began teaching in July 2006 after my old teacher emmigrated to South Africa. After a few months I had enough students to quit my day job and teach piano full time. As I learnt the instrument by ear initially and only later formally at university I have an affinity with students who wish to learn in a less orthodox manner. My exam candidates successfully passed over 300 ABRSM exams (one has learnt a scholarship at Chethams in Manchester) and have also learnt many of their favourite songs which I have adapted to suit their ability.
