General information
Koshu is the Japanese title of Master Calligrapher, Akemi Lucas. She was born in Japan and at the age of 8 she started to learn Japanese Calligraphy with her teacher, Mr Seizan Fujimoto.
Building on the traditional skills Koshu has been taught and embracing new ideas, her latest work is the marriage of ancient and modern, east and west, 'before' and 'after'.
Koshu teaches children and adult classes in Caterham and Camberley in Surrry (UK) with separate workshops at many locations. Please contact her for class time and availability as well commissioned art and seals.
