Artist Naomi Jacques' eloquent glass sculptures may appear to pay tribute to the Pate de verre technique but they are uniquely crafted in their own right, in concept and in process.
Kiln formed glass created with several grades of glass frit. A personal blend of works which are broken, stretched, shattered and finally subjected to heating techniques which merge into a single entity once again.
Naomi, recently commended by the Contemporary Glass Society, is a Licentiate Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and resides with her partner and three children in the traditional pottery county of Staffordshire.
